This is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. I just bought this hair dryer after trying out my Dad’s dryer that was made by the same company but was a different model. His is awesome and before buying this one I would actually go over to his house and use his (he lives next door). It’s absolutely the best dryer I have ever used in my life. I have to admit that my Dad’s model is slightly better than this model but only a tiny bit better. His is called the Tigi Bed Head BH400 Fiber Optic Tourmaline Active Ionic Dryer. It is all silver and lights up in blue and green instead of purple. If it was available I would have preferred to get the BH400 but I could only find the BH401. That was fine with me I was just happy to find one after searching for about 3 weeks.
It costs $49.99 – $59.99 to buy it online but my Dad found his on clearance at Publix for $29.99 with a $10.00 off coupon attached and I found mine at T.J. Maxx for $29.99. It is definitely worth $50 to $60 bucks though and can be found at www.ZsiChimera.com.
I cannot tell you how good this dryer does on my hair. It dries my hair in half the time it used to take which is important to me because my hair is so long, It goes all the way past my butt. Plus my hair has never been so healthy and shiny. I honestly think that this dryer actually has enabled my hair to grow longer than it ever could before. I suppose this is because of the lack of breakage and brittleness that other dryers cause.
This is a very good looking dryer and it is sturdy and substantial when it comes to weight. It reminds me of the dryers that hairdressers use in salons. At first I liked the dryer strictly based on looks alone. It is silver with purplish pink lights that look like neon stripes down the sides. I think it was an innovative idea to add the lights, it is surely not anything I have seen before.
It states that it has a pulsating feature and I have tried it but I rarely use it. I always thought that it was supposed to be designed for people with curly hair. The dryer comes with a diffuser with soft fingers and a concentrator but I don’t use those either. I just use it as a regular dryer and for that purpose it works beautifully.
